| Black Friday is not only the symbol of bad luck, but also shopping day with discount in all shops. But before we make a shopping plan for next Friday, it could be more interesting to think that how Black Friday is constructed in modern society without traditional cultural based. The origin of Black Friday can be found HERE. But it is very interesting to find out why some people, particularly businesses see Black Friday as a chance of improving popularity and profits as you claimed, "shopping day with discount in all shops". | |

The origin of Black Friday can be found HERE. But it is very interesting to find out why some people, particularly businesses see Black Friday as a chance of improving popularity and profits as you claimed, "shopping day with discount in all shops". The original Black Friday for bad luck is normally Friday on 13th, but this time the Black Friday is the symbol of budget(red) turn to profit(black). Well, we can consider it as a traditional shopping day since since mid 20th century, and right now due to the growth of online shopping, it turned out to be more popular and there are many other shopping days were introduced like Cyber Monday(Next Monday of Thanks giving) in USA and Single Day(11th of November) in China. To think in business way, Black Friday is just a prelude of Christmas shopping season. But thinking sociologically, is better to say there is a social need of this kind of shopping day, for sellers, they can have a clear day to lower down the price of goods but also boost quantity of their sales in order to increase their profit; for buyers, they can have cheaper goods to buy in a particular days and there is wider choice of goods ever than before, which also satisfied their demand for preparing Christmas; For government, they can collect more tax from people's economic activities and those economic activities could better help their economic performance been better. Thous we can see black friday benefit not only an individual, but also society as a whole, so what's your waiting for? Let's go shopping on this Friday(┛`д´)┛ | |

| I would like to make an informal complaint about discounts on Black Friday. It turned out there isn't much discounts on Black Friday as you claimed to be. | |
